Students will learn how to safely apply defensive shooting principles beyond a static firing line while building confidence, awareness, and control under pressure.
This course introduces students to the practical application of defensive handgun skills in a more dynamic environment. While basic pistol classes focus on marksmanship fundamentals, this class begins the transition into training for real-world self-defense scenarios. Defensive encounters are fast, stressful, and unpredictable, and your training should reflect that reality

Basic Pistol or comparable: All students must demonstrate safe gun handling and a solid understanding of the four rules of firearm safety.
Age: Must be 16 years of age or older.
Legal Status: Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident.
Background: No felony convictions, no domestic violence convictions, and not subject to an active order of protection.
Sobriety: Not a habitual user of controlled substances or a medical marijuana cardholder.
